Headteacher's Welcome

I hope you enjoy exploring Ysgol Pen-y-Bryn’s website. This website is designed to 
give you an insight into our school community, our values, our aims and our 
achievements. From the news and events section, the Friends of the School page as 
well as the photo gallery, you will see that we are a busy school. No two days are ever 
the same!
We work in partnership with parents and carers and very much value the support and 
contribution they make to school life. We believe good communication between us is 
vital to our continued success and hope our website is enjoyable and informative for 
you.
At Ysgol Pen-y-Bryn our aim is to provide an inclusive, secure, caring, high quality learning environment, to help your child make memories that will inspire a life long 
love of learning. We nurture well-rounded, happy and educated children in a friendly 
and family-like environment to enable each child to achieve their personal potential.
Based in Colwyn Heights and near to the towns of Colwyn Bay and Conwy we benefit 
greatly from beautiful surroundings and actively take opportunities to extend learning 
beyond the door of the classroom and into our local community.
