Croeso i tudalen y Cyngor Ysgol 2024-25. Welcome to the School Council page 2024-25.

Here you will find out what our brilliant School Councillors have been doing to help our school! We meet in Miss McTague’s classroom (5AM) on Thursday lunchtimes.

Our school councillors are dedicated to raising the profile of pupil voice in our school to ensure we are tackling issues that are important to our learners.

Our school council have been discussing the importance of supporting our local community. As we are currently celebrating Harvest festival our councillors have come up with the wonderful and thoughtful idea to collect food to donate to our local food bank. We have asked for donations by 21st October.

So far this year our councillors have decided that the Junior yard is in need of an upgrade! They have worked hard to listen to the ideas of their classes in order to design a creative new playground that will be enjoyed by all of the Juniors.

As well as this we are in the process of helping Mr Monteiro with an exciting project to showcase what life is like at Ysgol Pen y Bryn. Keep your eyes peeled for updates!
