Croeso i tudalen y Cyngor Ysgol 2023-24. Welcome to the School Council page 2023-24.

Here you will find out what our brilliant School Councillors have been doing to help our school! We meet in Miss McTague’s classroom (5AM) on Thursday lunchtimes.

Our school councillors are dedicated to raising the profile of pupil voice in our school to ensure we are tackling issues that are important to our learners.

So far this year our councillors have decided that the Junior yard is in need of an upgrade! They have worked hard to listen to the ideas of their classes in order to design a creative new playground that will be enjoyed by all of the Juniors.

We are now in the process of finding who would be able to help our ideas come to life before we discuss our ideas with the Friends of Ysgol Pen-y-Bryn.

As well as this we are in the process of improving our school library even further. We are very lucky to have seen our library be used much more in the past few years thanks to all of the hard work from the Friends and Mr Fawcett. Our school councillors are keen to ensure that we keep stocking our library with new and diverse books and that it is a comfortable space for children to use.
