Croeso i dudalen Dosbarth 4DD.
We will continue to upload work, pictures and information to this page regularly. Nearly there....
Our final topic is called BLOOD, BONES AND GORY BITS - the children are learning about their bodies and how they work. They will need their PE kits every day until the end of term.
All school reports should now be in your possession, thank you for all the positive comments so far, they are much appreciated, diolch.
A big thank you to all pupils who recently joined me in Pentrellyncymer, we had a wonderful time - I have uploaded photos into the GALLERY section of the website. You can borrow a copy of the disk of all the photographs to loan overnight, just ask!
Our fourth topic was "Travel Agents" where we studied Europe and further afield. The children were also given a budget to send my family and I on holiday....
The Year 4 visit to the Runway Visitor Centre at Manchester Airport took place on THURSDAY 10th APRIL and a great time was had by all! We were even lucky enough to see the Airbus 380 land :)
Our third topic of the year was called "Flight Engineers" and we have been learning about flight and how people came to fly! We have looked at flying toys, the Greek story of Icarus, made paper aeroplanes and researched important people such as George Cayley (maybe you've seen the pub?!) and the Wright Brothers.
Last term we read Jacqueline Wilson's book "Cliffhanger" about a time away at an Outdoor Adventure Centre!
We covered our first topic of "Wild Wood" which involved visits to our local woodland area - Pwllycrochan. "Children of the Revolution" was our second topic and was a history based topic centred around the 19th Century incorporating the Victorian Era.
If you have any suggestions for content please let us know.
Pop-in time is on a Thursday after school until 4pm, I look forward to meeting you.
