Welcome to 3CJ!
Summer Term 2012 


We will start collecting in the Library books and reading books this week (From Monday 9th July)ready for the Summer Holidays.

Wednesday 27th June Year Three Trip to Chester.

We have had a wonderful day and the behaviour was brilliant. Well done all!

Junior Sports Day

Will try again Wednesday 11th July

If cancelled will be on main website by noon.

Tuesday 17th July Roman Day

Roman feast, Beauty Parlour, Roman Food Tasting, Gladiator/soldier training
No charge
however
we would like the children to make a costume to wear on the day and a contribution to the feast (ask your child about Roman food)
Planners must be signed for permission to take part in the Taste Testing and Beauty Parlour!
Wednesday 18th July
Theatr Colwyn to see the Year Six Show!

Thursday 19th July-School closes for Summer.

Summer Fayre
July 7th 11am -2pm

The more volunteers the better!

Monday-Library
Tuesday-Pop in day

Homework
Maths homework will be given out every week on a Thursday. This is to be returned by the following Tuesday.
Spellling homework will be given out every fortnight. The children are expected to read every night and parents to sign the 'reading record' part of their planner, especially if the book needs changing.
 
Monday-indoor P.E./Dance
Wednesday- P.E. outdoor kit needed.
Please can all the children have a full P.E. kit in school including trainers. They are welcome to bring it in on a Monday and keep it in their lockers untill the Friday.

Clubs
Netball Tuesdays 3.30 start
Choir Wednesday lunch time
Tennis Friday 3.30 start (there is a charge)
Cross Country Lunchtimes Monday and Thursday
Football After school Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (there may be a small charge)


Lost property
Now its getting warmer please make sure your child's name is on their jumper.
Please label all of your child's uniform and P.E. kit. We have a huge pile of unlabelled, lost kit
