Traditional Stories

This half term our theme is Traditional stories

The first two weeks will be dedicated to

The Gingerbread Man

Children will be undertaking activities in class related to The Gingerbread Man story. They will aslo be learning several different variations to the story.

W|C 16th January

Our traditional story this next 2 weeks will be
Goldilocks and the 3 Bears

We shall be doing lots of lovely activities including making porridge and incorperating lots of number and sound work as well as creative activities and ICT.

W|C 30th January

Our traditional story for the next 2 weeks is

The 3 Little Pigs

Over the course of the next 2 weeks we shall be reading several different variations of The 3 little Pigs story as well as building a smaller version of the 3 houses and discusing the materials used by the pigs to do this.

We shall also be discusing the story during circle time and doing lots of arts, crafts and mathamatical work.
If your child has any story books , games etc related to this topic we would be very happy for them to be brought into school.
