Sid the cat came to visit!

Lucy's Mummy brought Sid the cat to school to visit the children. This brought our new topic (Paws, Claws and Whiskers) to life and gave non-cat owning children the opportunity to see a cat up close! Sid was very friendly and enjoyed exploring our classroom. He enjoyed being fed yummy cat treats and behaved beautifully (considering he had 30 curious children buzzing around him!!!). We asked Lucy's Mummy questions about Sid...what he likes to eat, where he sleeps and what he likes to play with. This was a truly memorable and enjoyable experience for the children.....a big thank you to Lucy and her Mummy, and to Sid of course!
