Welcome to Reception CW

Welcome to our class.  The children have settled in brilliantly and are enjoying coming to school every day.  We aim to provide a fun and exciting curriculum for your child.  The children are encouraged to take part in structured  adult led activities, play experiences and child led learning.

Meet the staff!!

We have four members of staff that work in our classroom:  

Mrs Williams- Class Teacher

Mrs Fennell- Teaching Assistant

Mrs Vincent- Teaching Assistant

Ms Harper- Teaching Assistant to cover PPA on a Wednesday.

Our timetable and important things to know!!

Please could all pupils come to school dressed for PE on a Wednesday and a Friday.

We have bikes and scooters on a Thursday afternoon.

Book bags need to come to school every Wednesday.  We will change reading books, sound books and library books on this day.

Please ensure that your child has a water bottle filled with water for class and a coat every day.  A separate drink for packed lunches should also be provided if your child is having a packed lunch.

The children are now coming home each Wednesday with new sounds in their sound books.  Please could you help them by practising recognising the sounds for a few minutes each day.
