Children attending Ysgol Pen-y-Bryn nursery classes can attend Nursery Plus from 8am -3:15 at a cost of £20 per day, payable in advance at the start of each week/month. You can use your 30 hour childcare offer with us. We also have a partnership with Springfield day nursery where you can access after school care on site with them until 6pm at a cost of £35.99 for the full day 8am-6pm.

Breakfast is provided from 8am-8:30. Children have a snack during their session and both groups meet for lunch. Children can bring their own packed lunch or purchase a school dinner at a cost of £2.50.

We work alongside nursery to enhance provision, following the same curriculum and schemes. Your child can attend anything from one day per week to five days per week depending on your needs. Feel free to call in.

Dates for your diary 2020

We have lot's of things going on this February to April half term, keep coming back to see what we have been doing each week.

This 3rd week of term we have gone off topic. Last week when making our shape dragons a lot of the children said they looked like dinosaurs and how much they liked dinosaurs, so we have had a week of exploring dinosaurs.

This 2nd week we have been celebrating Welsh week.

This week we will be discussing our new topic and celebrating Shrove Tuesday by making pancakes.

Our new topic this January is Scrumptious, we will be exploring different foods.

This week we have been celebrating Chinese new year. Kung hei fat choy - Happy new year!

This week we have been exploring citrus fruits and talking about healthy foods. We have turned the home corner into a shop and talked about going shopping and what we buy.

This last week of term we have been listening to and discussing the story of the tiger who came to tea. We have also been doing some Valentine's day craft.

Our topic this term November to December is "My family" and of course Christmas.
