On Thursday 27th June PC Graham and PC Lloyd came to school with two police dogs. First PC Graham talked to us about the dogs and what they do. Then he brought Bees into the classroom. She is his sniffer dog and is trained to find drugs, money and firearms. Then he brought Flynn onto the playground. He is used to stop people from doing bad things but also to do good things too. Flynn was the dog who found a 4 year old boy a mile and a half away from the caravan he was staying in when he decided to take himself for a walk! What an amazing dog!
Thank you PC Graham and PC Lloyd! We has a wonderful time. It was great to meet you and your dogs!
