Welcome to the Friends of Ysgol Pen Y Bryn section of our website.
The Friends of Ysgol Pen-Bryn is a registered charity with the purpose of raising funds for the benefit of all the school children.
Rhian Tuffery as Chair welcomes all parents and teachers to be involved in any project or initiative to raise funds.
In recent years the money raised has paid for
Outside play area/garden Y1 - £4,500
Reception garden/area - £1,000
Y6 party contribution and leavers gifts - £350
and other additional smaller items.
Ongoing projects include initiatives in the School Library, the IT room and supporting the Y3 and Y4 outside garden area.
Any parent can join the Friends of Ysgol Pen Y Bryn committee and would be very welcome and if you have any suggestions for fund raising please let us know.
A schedule of activities are advertised in the school newsletters and various updates are emailed and are available on social media.
