Welcome to the class page of 4RR! The class teacher is Mrs Rhian Roxburgh and she is ably assisted by Mrs Mandy Hill.
We will strive to keep our page up to date, if you have any suggestions for what you would like to see, please let us know!

This term our topic is called FLIGHT ENGINEERING and focuses on flight, forces and the history of flight. please note, a homework has been set and given out for the children to research one of the significant people in the World of Flight. (please see homework sheet given out, below)

In addition to the above, we will also be designing and creating our own flying toys and gadgets for a toy store campaign.  The children will learn how to write instructional texts and develop additional skills in explanation and biography writing.

POP IN day is TUESDAY, Mrs Roxburgh will be free to see you or you can just pop in and look at your child's work. Always check first as there are weeks when she may be away, diolch.

SPELLING tests are on a MONDAY afternoon, please ensure that your child has completed the weekly spelling homework and tried hard to learn the given words. They should challenge themselves to learn the correct number of words each week.

TIMES TABLES tests are on a FRIDAY morning.  The pupils will choose the appropriate challenge from basic times table knowledge to derivatives that include division and questions such as 50 x 40 to see if they really know their tables! After all, 5x5 always makes 25 whether you're 8 or 88!!
