Wow! What a fantastic week it has been!

 

It has been amazing to see all your great work this week. We are very proud of you! We have loved seeing all your unique squiggle art. We have seen lots of great estimating and counting in 2s, 5s, and 10s.

 All Week 6 activities will be on Seesaw as normal and we are available on there to help you with anything. Some activities will go live on Thursday and Friday.

 

Don’t forget to respond to the Register Activity on Seesaw each week. We love seeing your videos and pictures. It’s a great way to keep connected.

 

All Parents Evenings have been allocated now. You will be able to see these through your child’s Hwb. There is lots of information in the activities section on Seesaw on how to access these. If you need any help just let us know.

All the activities are on Seesaw as normal and we are available on there to help you with anything.

When you are on your Seesaw page there are 3 parts:

 

  • Seesaw Journal – Whole Class Activities e.g. PE, stories, Welsh and your child’s work will appear here.

 

  • Seesaw Activities – Click to complete Focus Tasks e.g. Maths, Writing, Topic

 

  • Seesaw Inbox – announcements, messages and daily videos from Miss Mustari or Miss McKibbin

 

We will also pin our daily videos to the top of your journal everyday so you can access it for a daily check in and overview of activities.

 

Remember to say hello on the Register activity so we know you are accessing Seesaw.

Topic - Dreams and Goals through Fairytales

 

Genre - Fairytales and Non - fiction - Castles

 

Topic

This half term our topic is

‘Dreams and Goals through Fairytales'.

We will also be

learning about targets and New Year Resolutions.

 

Jigsaw

Jigsaw is a whole school

approach to PSHE.  Every lesson has 2 learning

intentions:

1 Health and Well-being knowledge.

2 Emotional literacy and social skills.

 

Home Learning Seesaw

We will continue to use Seesaw for reading, spellings, oracy and maths activities.

 

 

Home Learning Reading

Please read with your child every day and remember to comment and sign the reading record and upload a photo to Seesaw. We find these comments really useful!

 

 

Home Learning Spellings

We will be continuing to send spellings home over Seesaw. Once your child has practised their spellings remember to  upload a photo on Seesaw. There will be a weekly spelling test on Friday.

 

 

If your child is coming into school your child needs…

*a water bottle

*piece of fruit for their snack

*lunch box if they are having sandwiches.

 

Could we please ask that children do not bring anything else to school if possible.
